If you love animals, the Windsor-Essex County Humane Society (WECHS) provides a perfect opportunity to showcase your compassion, dependability, and skills. Individuals from our community commit time, talents and donations to assist staff and support the animal programs that allow them to continue the important work that they do for animal welfare in the Windsor-Essex region. Their various volunteer positions provide for the opportunity to contribute to the care of animals in need, support their mission, and give back to the community.
The Windsor Essex Food Bank Association (WEFBA) is a community based, not-for-profit organization comprised of 15 local food banks. Together they are a cohesive group, who have collectively enhanced their ability to reach thousands of individuals and families in Windsor and Essex County who need emergency food supplies. They are proud members of Feed Ontario and an affiliate member of Food Banks Canada. You can volunteer your time, or donate to support those less fortunate in our community.

Established in 1994, Habitat for Humanity Windsor-Essex is a non-profit, non-denominational faith-based housing organization. 100% of all administrative and fundraising costs are paid for by the operation of our ReStore. Habitat for Humanity is founded on the belief that decent, affordable housing is a basic human right. Even if you have never lifted a hammer your time and efforts in volunteering, donating money or items are much needed and appreciated.
